Time for an update. After many orders for both pick up and delivery this location has definitely changed for the better. The pizzas have been great. Before they never had any cheese and almost no toppings. They've been consistently great based on our last 10 orders. I'm not sure if management or owner changed but it's great now! This review is based on their pizzas. The only negative thing I would point out is their buffalo wings and boneless wings are very tiny in size and portion. Having said that, I appreciate their improvement.
I've been getting pizza here ever since I was little. The food never disappoints. It is nicely decorated, and the arcade games are very fun.
So, two years after a very bad experience with Me & Eds we decided to give them one last try. I just couldn't let go. - 12/30/2024: After a few bad experiences with our years-long haunt at Maple/Behymer, we tried the Cedar/Nees location. We got a large with salami, linguica, mushrooms and garlic. Still mediocre with scant cheese and toppings, and two-three inches of bare crust at the perimeter. Still not the Me & Eds of old. - 1/1/2025: Still craving that signature crust, and with limited options at 7:00 on NYD, my dad and I were passing by the Willow/Nees location. I thought "what the hell", so on a whim, we stopped in and ordered a small combination to give it one last try, and... AT LAST!!! Cheese and toppings almost to the edge with just enough of that epic crust left to serve as an "after-tizer" with every slice. THIS is the Me & Eds I remember from the 80's, 90's and 2000's! This was definitely a five-star pizza, but I have to hold back a star for quality control across the chain. Many thanks to the Willow/Nees store for restoring my faith in Me & Eds!
Me n Ed's is hands-down the best pizza in the Central Valley! This is our go to spot whenever we are craving pizza! We love ordering takeout, delivery and also dining in. This place is the best and is very generous with their toppings.
I was in town visiting and the family had to stop by Me n Ed's, which was our usually pizza spot growing up. Now I wouldn't say Me-n-Ed's is the best pizza I've ever had, but it always hits the spot and I've rarely ever had an issue with my orders. The hot Hawaiian will definitely make you re-think allowing pineapple on pizza. And the classic combo is always loaded with toppings. This location also offers draft beer. Having lived in San Diego for the last decade, I'm pretty spoiled with beer options, so I can't hold it against the location for only having 5 options. That being said, can't beat the price for a pitcher of beer. Kuddos to the staff for being helpful for the recommendation and offers a sample. What brought the rating down was their new (to me) pizza bowls. I'm pretty shocked they even sell this thing. $13-$14 for a sad TV-dinner looking thing. Overall though, good experience between staff and the large amount of seating. Definitely give it a try!
The customer service is excellent. We often see the owner overseeing the business. There are some fun games and lots of tables good for groups. We like pepperoni pizza and classic combo on regular crust. Good draft beers too. We often get delivery too. We've always had a positive experience here but wanted to take the time to review.
